Registration Fees
The registration fee for all Participants (except the
Accompanying Persons) includes access to all Technical Sessions,
the Symposium Book and CD Rom of Proceedings, light lunches and
refreshments, access to the Exhibition as well as access to the
Opening Ceremony & Welcome Reception on 20th September 2011 and
the Closing Ceremony on 23 September 2011.
The registration fee for Accompanying Persons includes admission
to the Opening and losing Ceremonies, the Commercial Exhibition and
the Welcome Reception, and the full Accompanying Persons' programme
of visits which include lunch and refreshment breaks. Participants
wishing to join any Accompanying Persons' tour will incur an
additional daily fee and bookings will be subject to availability
and only available to book during the Symposium, not in advance.
Priority will be given to Accompanying Persons.
Group Bookings
There will be no group bookings rate for this event.
Early and Standard Payment Rates
For all bookings made and paid for before the 30th June 2011 a
discounted 'Early Payment' rate applies. After this date the
increased 'Standard Payment' rate is applicable to all paid
bookings. This fee structure means that unless credit card payment
is made online at the time of completing the registration, all
invoices will display the standard payment rate irrespective of
when the booking is made. A note on all the invoices will advise on
the amount that can be deducted from the total displayed if full
payment is received before the 30th June.
Currency & VAT Reclaim
All fees will be invoiced and payable in pounds sterling
(GBP).
Under UK VAT legislation relating to place of supply of
services, VAT will be charged at 20% on all bookings irrespective
of delegates' place of domicile. Visitors from outside the United
Kingdom are entitled to reclaim the VAT paid on many of their

information. Please note that the organisers take no
responsibility for reclaiming VAT on behalf of attendees.
Payment Information
Payment is required in full before the event. Payment should be
made either by debit/credit card or bank transfer. The following
credit and debit cards are accepted: Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard,

Please quote the invoice number, your company name and the
delegate name on all remittances by bank transfer. Hemming Group
Limited reserves the right to refuse admission if payment has not
been received at least one week before the Congress opens.
Confirmation of Registration
You will receive confirmation of your registration, joining
instructions and a VAT invoice by email. If you do not receive
confirmation within 48 hours of registering, please call the
registration secretariat, Rachel Gardner, on Tel. + 44 (0) 20 7973
4617 to check if your registration has been received.
Cancellation Policy
Upon receipt of your booking form, your place(s) for the
Symposium will be confirmed. Cancellations of Symposium
registration, tours and events must be made in writing to the
Secretariat by 31st July 2011. After this date, no refunds will be
made, but substitutions are welcome and a copy of the Final
Programme and Proceedings on CD-ROM will be mailed to you after the
Symposium. Before this date an administration fee of (£99 + VAT)
will be charged.
In the unlikely event of the Symposium being cancelled, the
maximum liability of the Organisers in respect of any delegate
registered for the Symposium shall be restricted to the amounts
received by the Organisers in respect of delegate fees for that
delegate.
