This special Joint Annual Symposium of the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE) and the International Association for Shell and Spatial Structures (IASS) will also incorporate the 6th International Conference on Space Structures usually held at Surrey University.

The Annual Meetings of the Associations will also be held in conjunction with the Symposium.

Accompanying Persons

An accompanying person is a guest of an attendee that has already registered.

A full programme is being organised for accompanying persons which will include visits to landmark sites in London and to famous historic locations a short distance outside the city.

The visits will take place every day from Tuesday 20th to Friday 23rd September.

All visits start and end at the main symposium venue in Westminster.

The registration fee is £350.00 + VAT and includes:

  • A full guided programme of visits
  • Opening ceremony & welcome reception - 20th September 2011
  • Light lunches and refreshments
  • Access to the exhibition
  • Closing ceremony - 23rd September 2011
